“Mondays are for Vegetarians at Dovetail”

For those of you who shun meat, whether for ethical, personal, or dietary reasons, a chance to dine at Dovetail, John Fraser's elegant three-star restaurant on the Upper West Side, in a carnivore-free environment has arrived. 

Fraser is celebrating vegetarians and vegans with a summer-long Monday night $38 pre-fixe menu. Over 20 seasonal dishes featuring local ingredients from New York’s own Union Square Greenmarket will be available. Expect dishes like vegetable consommé with mushroom dumplings and spicy pickled carrots, chestnut cabbage roulade with sweet potato brulée and truffle vinaigrette and Parsnip “spare ribs” with tamarind BBQ, pineapple and crispy shallots.

Pastry Chef Vera Tong is also joining in with veggie-inspired desserts like chocolate gateau with caramelized pineapple and apple pie tartlet. Herbivores and carnivores alike are sure to enjoy! Dovetail is located at 103 W 77th Street at Columbus Avenue. For reservations call 212-362-3800.
