Help the Good Fork Rebuild!

Strong Buzz friends Sohui Kim and her husband Ben Schnieder opened The Good Fork nearly seven years ago, serving eclectic comfort food in a cozy dining room hand built by Ben. Since then, they've created many great memories for their loyal patrons, neighbors, friends and family.

As many of you know, Super Storm Sandy hit Red Hook pretty badly and the Good Fork was not spared. The waters flooded their basement and continued up into their dining room causing incredible damage to their furniture, basement kitchen, equipment, inventory etc.

Ben and Sohui, along with the rest of the Good Fork staff, past and present, are committed to rebuilding and reopening. They are reaching out to all of us, the restaurant community who loves them, for help in this endeavor.
