He's loving some of my favorites too—Char No. 4, Convivio, General Greene and more. His writing is gonna make you hungry, so be sure and have a burger or a bowl or ramen nearby.

“NY Magazine? p.r. driven hype”

As a lifelong New Yorker I must say that the absolute worst tips on places to eat and drink I have ever received have all come from the pages of NY Magazine. Absolutely worthless, p.r. driven hype.
