Adam Platt's Where to Eat—his comprehensive coverage of the year in food and where to spend your hard-earned cash in 2009, is a terrific and impressively comprehensive read, and includes everything from cheap eats to recession gourmet. He's loving some of my favorites too—Char No. 4, Convivio, General Greene and more. His writing is gonna make you hungry, so be sure and have a burger or a bowl or ramen nearby.
