“Find. Eat. Drink. The iPhone App has ARRIVED! (and it's free!!)”

For me, travelling is always a great opportunity for, well, eating. Sure there may be ancient ruins, world-class museums, beautiful sandy white beaches, and all those great shops, but the main reason I travel is to eat. But where to go for the best of the best? Guide books seem so 1980. Wouldn’t it be nice to chat up Eric Ripert to find out where he goes for croissants in Paris? Or to check in with PDT bartender Jim Meehan to find out where he drinks in Los Angeles? Or find out where Mugaritz's Andoni Luis Aduriz likes to eat tapas? Your connection to the experts has finally arrived. Enter the Find. Eat. Drink. (FED) iPhone App.

The newest app to hit the market puts the culinary community right at your fingertips when picking restaurants, bars, coffee places, food shops and markets. The Find. Eat. Drink. (FED) iPhone App is the world’s first travel guide curated by top tier chefs, sommeliers, bartenders, baristas, pitmasters and food artisans. (Download the app here)

Need a coffee in Atlanta?  Octane barista Tony Riffel shares his top spots. Looking to buy wine in San Francisco? RN74 sommelier Raj Parr recommends his favorite wine shops. From New York to New Orleans, Boston to Barcelona, Miami to Montreal, big cities to tiny towns, the insiders lead you to their favorite local gems. You can search close to home or when you are abroad, exploring by city or pro. A Near Me geo-location feature is perfect for when you are already “out and about” without a reservation.

FindEatDrink.com was co-founded by Nick Bumstead, formerly of Chambers Street Wines, and Robin Dorian, a former Food Network producer and host. Together they traveled the world obtaining phenomenal recommendations from industry insiders, at times written on the back of paper napkins. “It was great to be able to spend time with someone like legendary bartender Murray Stenson in Seattle and then meet the bartenders he recommended” says Dorian. “We’d follow up with their recommendations and continue the chain with the next link.”

“People always ask me where I go to eat this and that” says Dale Talde, chef-owner of TALDE, Pork Slope and Thistle Tavern (all located in Brooklyn, NY), Bravo’s Top Chef contestant, and contributor to the Find. Eat. Drink. app.  “I think people are really going to enjoy having the instant access to all the information we, as people who live and breathe this every day, have at our finger tips.”

The F.E.D. Mobile App currently features over 2,100 establishments in 120 cities and towns around the world from 340 experts. New destinations and pros added on a frequent basis. It is available at no cost at the iTunes store.
