“Bond Street”

  Occasion: Cuisine: Area: Cost: Rating:
Night Out Asian East Village Moderate Great

High-art sushi and sashimi are the calling cards of Bond St, a hot spot and hipster hang out disguised as a modern Japanese restaurant. Bold-faced named celebs and super models are the typical guests at this white-washed, airy restaurant and down in the dark and sexy lower level bar you’ll find more of the same. For all the hype though, Bond St. serves excellent sushi and sashimi and an extensive and inventive modern Japanese-influenced menu that stands up to the scene with impressive resolve.
