“Blue Ribbon”

Blue Ribbon

Brothers Bruce and Eric Bromberg opened Blue Ribbon on a quiet block in Soho some ten years ago and today it is as packed as it was on day one. The tiny, low-lit bistro oozes fabulousness (models, moguls, musicians are regulars) and features an eclectic menu of New York and French staples like an icy raw bar stocked with oysters, deliriously good fried chicken (served with honey), and a perfect, meaty and intensely flavored steak tartare garnished with cornichons, onion, egg, and coarse mustard. Blue Ribbon’s notoriety comes from its late-night crowd that inevitably includes super-star chefs unwinding after a night of cooking, or just a night on the town.
