“Beer and Ice Cream at 61 Local, Grilling at the New Amsterdam Market, Jazz Brunch at Henry's (by bike!)”

Pint Mash-Up at 61 Local

On Saturday, August 13th, Cobble Hill's local biergarten, 61 Local, will be hosting the Pint Mash-Up, a super sweet event with Brooklyn-based Steve's Craft Ice Cream, featuring three new ice cream flavors made with local craft beer. The schedule of events is as follows:
11am- Steve's Pop-up ice cream cart at 61 Local Kickstand Coffee cart sets up to serve iced coffee and floats all day
Raffle tickets are given with every float purchased

6pm- Free samples of Steve's feature flavors: BEER PRETZEL CARAMEL, MAPLE PECAN PORTER, BROOKLYN BLACKOUT
Guest bartenders from Sixpoint and the home brewers team

11pm- Winners of the raffle prizes are announced.
"Pint" shuffle showdown between those lovable underdogs the Home Brewers and the ruthless Sixpoint and Barrier Brewing pro-team.

The Grill is On at the New Amsterdam Market

On Sunday, August 14, chef Galen Zamarra offers New Amsterdam Market goers another exclusive preview of his soon-to-open Mas (la grillade). If you missed out on charred octopus, grill corn or pork skewers with preserved lemon marmalade during their last visit, Galen and his crew are devising some new grilled specialties for you to try.

The New Amsterdam Market is located in the South Street Seaport, South St. between Beekman St. and Peck Slip, from 11AM - 4PM.

Jazz Brunch at Henry's (Ride Your Bike!)

Henry's, the Upper West Side bistro, has just started serving music with its brunch. On Saturdays, enjoy local legend Bill Wurtzel, who has lived around the corner from Henry's for years. Bill's jazz guitar sound is always special and he brings new musical guests every week. So come in and meet Bill and his sidemen while you enjoy brunch that includes Randy's Bloody Mary's and Mango Mimosa's, Chef's Eggs Benedict, Poached Eggs over Warm Polenta, and more.
