“Boundless Barbecue at Pera, Halloween Fun”

Pera Celebrates Five Years with Boundless Barbecue

This Saturday and Sunday, to celebrate its 5th anniversary – and a soon to debut Soho sibling – Pera Mediterranean Brasserie, the boisterous midtown Mecca for eastern Mediterranean food, will launch a weekly Boundless BBQ offering unlimited (well, there is actually a two-hour limit but that does seem rather limitless to me) grilled meats and seafood, complemented by three signature appetizers and three side served family style, plus dessert for $29 per person.   

THE BOUNDLESS BBQ menu includes a mezze sampler (hummus, roasted whipped eggplant and tomato and onion salad), and barbeque’d main dishes like Mediterranean meatballs, marinated hanger steak, baby lamb riblets, and chicken brochette, along with sides of pilaf, fries and stewed winter greens. For dessert, baklava (natch) or poached winter fruit.

It is available every Saturday and Sunday for brunch and dinner through the end of the year.

Flatbush Farm Halloween Celebration

On Monday night, stop in at Flatbush Farm for their Halloween celebration set to the luscious sounds of Cumbiagra! Inspired by the Colombian dance style known as cumbia, with a unique synthesis of musical styles drawing on the rich diversity of New York City, Cumbiagra has hosted legendary dance parties throughout New York's Lower East Side, Brooklyn, Mexico and beyond. Proper attire required---prizes will be awarded for best costumes.
