For Kids: Tegu's How Do You Roll?

The socially-driven company and award winner of the magnetic wooden construction system is coming to Dekalb to play! The Tegu Truck is setting up along Dekalb Market's Flatbush Ave. Ext. for a free workshop for kids.

They'll be able to build and race their dream car on the super speedway, dress up as a race car driver, get their picture taken in Riley Roadster, dive into the block pit building area, collect freebies and enter the ‘How do you roll?' sweepstakes for a chance to design Tegu's next magnetic wooden vehicle. Be sure to follow them out Twitter @Tegu and Like them on Facebook!

They're not around forever so make sure to stop by during any of the below stops!

Friday, December 2 | 10am-12pm; Monday, December 5 | 10am-12pm; Tuesday, December 6 | 10am-12pm; Wednesday, December 7 | 10am-12pm.

The Dekalb Market is located at the intersection of Flatbush Avenue Extension and Willoughby in Brooklyn. Visit Dekalb Market for more information.

Champagne Taste

If you're a fan of bubbly and blinis (and who isn't), and you happen to have a spare hundred dollars in your wallet, you may want to indulge in this tasting of four farm-raised caviars, 10 grams each for $99. That's a total of more than an ounce of caviar, with a shot of iced vodka or a glass of Champagne. It will be served from Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Calvisius Caviar Lounge in the Four Seasons Hotel, 58 East 58th Street. Reservations: (212) 207-8222.

A Slow Food Market

Slow Food will showcase local food entrepreneurs with a tasting on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Jimmy's No. 43, 43 East Seventh Street (Second Avenue). Admission is $10 to benefit the organization: brownpapertickets.com/event/213589. A free tasting will also be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Amsterdam Market, at South Street Seaport.

HAPPY WEEKEND!
