At Jones Wood Foundry, St. Patrick’s Day purists can dine on the real deal on March 17th, when the UK-centric, food driven pub will open an hour early – at 10 a.m. – with its regular brunch menu supplemented by a Boiled Bacon, Cabbage, & Potatoes special. Saturday: Meet Fairway’s Culinary Rockstars

On Saturday from11am-3pm at the Harlem store, (2328 12th Avenue), Fairway Market’s produce director Peter Romano, Cheesemonger Steve Jenkins, Seafood Director Tony Maltese, Master Butcher Ray Venezia and Master Coffee Roaster Benny LanFranco (and others) are going to be hosing master classes in their trade along with free samples.

Sunday: Fried Chicken at Back Forty

Fried chicken may be perfect summer picnic food, but since it's not quite picnic weather yet, why not get your fill at Back Forty? On Sundays and Mondays Back Forty is now offering a two course fried chicken feast with a draft beer for $25—a seasonal Soup followed by Buttermilk Battered Fried Chicken with a honey biscuit and cole slaw.
