This Mother's Day, Chef Medina will be will be raffling off a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico (a place near and dear to Chef Medina) for one lucky mother and a guest! All you have to do is dine at any YB & Co. restaurant this Mother's Day (Toloache 50, Yerba Buena, Yerba Buena Perry, Coppelia and Toloache 82), and fill out an entry form. One winner will be selected at the end of the day, and contacted directly for their trip for two to Oaxaca (plus airfare and accommodations).

Any sandwich spot that offers bone marrow butter as a condiment is a favorite of mine. So I was not all that surprised that I would love Little Muenster, the brainchild of New York couple Adam Schneider and Vanessa Palazio. This pint-sized spot serves up gourmet grilled cheese, soup, salad, dessert, wine, Sofia Coppola blanc de blancs and beer in an environment that is fresh, stylish and relaxed. Evoking the feel of a New England kitchen, the diminutive 13-seat restaurant infuses classic comfort food with a mature culinary sensibility.

In celebration of NYC's mothers, Little Muenster will be offering half-priced Mimosas and bubbly ALL DAY on Mother's Day (Sunday, May 13th). Stop by for brunch, lunch or dinner and toast the #1 woman in your life - your mom! She deserves it.

At Corkbuzz Wine Studio, Mother's Day is strictly for grown-ups. Toast with Mom, Grandma or friends as Master Sommelier Laura Maniec pairs Champagne & other wines with a special, three-course brunch menu from chef Hayan Yi including dishes such as three-cheese quiche, crab cakes with asparagus and banana french toast. Treat mom to a lobster meal this Mother's Day at Lure Fishbar. In honor of the holiday, chef Josh Capon will offer a variety of specials featuring lots a lobster! Lunch specials include lobster "mac & cheese" with cavatappi pasta & three cheeses ($18) as well as a lobster omelet with asparagus, tomato & herbed mascarpone ($21). Lobster salad with roasted baby beets & avocado mousse ($18) and stuffed lobster with lump crab, asparagus & citrus hollandaise ($38) will be offered at dinner.

On a leafy block just steps away from Central Park, Telepan will celebrate Mother's Day with a special two-course brunch that starts with a basket of breads & sweet treats for the table, followed by enticing options such as sheep's milk ricotta blintzes and house-smoked brook trout with potato chive blini. The main course features Telepan brunch classics such as fallen pancakes souffle with brown sugar bacon & huckleberry syrup.

The Breslin Bar & Dining Room
