“A Taste of San Miguel de Allende at the Carlyle”

For four days (Tuesday, July 24 - Friday, July 27) in July, celebrated Mexican chef Carlos Hannon of Rosewood San Miguel de Allende will cook at The Carlyle Restaurant's Taste of San Miguel de Allende.

As an innovator in Mexican cuisine, Executive Chef Carlos Hannon is the driving force in the development of Rosewood San Miguel de Allende’s signature authentic dishes. Mentored by renowned Spanish Chef Daniel Bausa, Hannon highlights his Mexican roots and his grandmother’s kitchen as strong influences in his culinary style and techniques.

At the Carlyle, Hannon will serve the authentic Mexican cuisine for which he is known at Rosewood San Miguel's signature restaurant, 1826, in a special a la carte menu.  Many dishes will be paired with Casa Dragones, a limited edition 100% blue agave joven tequila.

Casa Dragones Tequila has a big presence in San Miguel, which is how Hannon became a fan.  The tequila is named for the legendary Dragones, an elite cavalry from San Miguel who led a movement that sparked Mexico's independence.  La Casa Dragones still stands on a narrow, cobblestone street in San Miguel, and is now the brand's 'spiritual home.'
