“Three New Spots to Lunch from Uptown to Downtown”

While nabbing a table for dinner can be easier in the summer months, lunch can be an even better deal. You’re less likely to have to deal with long waits and noisy dining rooms. Better yet, the prices are more reasonable. Here are a trio of new lunches all over town to check out:

At A.G. Kitchen, executive chef Alex Garcia presents a menu that’s part all-American favorites with some Latin touches. This Upper West Side spot already has fans for its Cubano sandwich that’s filled with warm roast pork, black forest ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, spicy mustard and a side of chips. There’s also crispy calamari, bacon-wrapped dates and grilled cheese. If you want a lighter meal, you could just as easily order a shrimp ceviche, a traditional guacamole or one made with pineapple and pomengranate, a number of salads with fresh market greens and even roast chickens. You can order lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A.G. Kitchen is located at 269 Columbus Avenue, 212-873-9400, www.agkitchen.com.

Rosemary’s is the type of place you can see people in the Village lunching at on a lazy afternoon. The restaurant’s interior is best descrbied as an urban farmhouse and the menu is just the right fit with a rustic Italian theme. From noon to 4:30PM (with the wine bar open with small plates from the enoteca served until 5pm when dinner starts), you can order from chef Wade Moises’s menu, which includes dishes like a panini filled with lamb, braised greens and honey-mint ricotta ($12) and a grilled asparagus salad topped with house-made mozzarella, egg, bread crumbs and roasted tomatoes ($13). If you feel like lingering over a glass of rose, the wine bar is open through dinner. Breakfast and brunch are planned for the near future, too.

Rosemary’s is located at 18 Greenwich Avenue (West 10th Street), 212-647-1818, www.rosemarysnyc.com.

We’re all looking for a good lunch deal. If you’re in the Midtown East area, don’t miss Siro’s of Manhattan’s special $6.95 summer lunch menu. The continental fare available are served in full portions, so you don’t have to worry about the kitchen skimping on the grilled chicken Caeser salad, the Siro’s cheeseburger (topped with double Gloucester cheddar, pancetta, lettuce and tomato) or a comforting bowl of oricchiette pasta tossed with Italian sausage and broccoli rabe. Enjoy!

Siro’s is located at 885 Second Avenue (between 47th and 48th Streets), 212-486-6400, www.sirosny.com.
