“Beer Table Now Serving Dinner Every Night!”

After the great success of their Wednesday Night Family Meal series, Beer Table owner Justin Philips and chef Jamie Klotz are taking the idea and expanding it nightly. On Tuesday, September 18th, the cozy Park Slope eatery and beer mecca began offering "Daily Dinner" nightly in lieu of its previous a la carte menu. Each night Tuesday-Sunday will feature a different family style set menu centered on one main ingredient (e.g. fish, chicken, beef, pork, veggie or cheese) for only $25 per person (not including tax & gratuity). The menus are designed to truly embody the idea of a "family dinner" – as in, “here it is, dig in!” And in the spirit of family, the meal will be generously portioned leaving little room for hunger once completed.
 
Justin Philips and his wife Tricia opened Beer Table nearly five years ago with the intent of providing a place at the table for beer; a space in which to gather, taste and experience unusual and extraordinary beers alongside flavorful, soulful food. Justin's vision has always been to treat each customer like a guest in his home and to create an environment more like a tasting room than a neighborhood pub. Because of the limitations of the small space, it's always been a challenge to navigate the boundary between restaurant and bar, which is why he created this series of dinners. Justin hopes to serve these to larger groups with the idea that they will essentially have a private dining experience.
 
Chef Jamie Klotz joined Beer Table in late 2011 and has helped to re-envision Justin's menu, drawing from her experiences at Momofuku and Roberta's in creating simple, elegant food, paralleling the deliciousness of the beer menu.
 
Reservations are available through OpenTable and the restaurant can be reserved for parties of up to 24 guests.
