“Brunch Begins at Cole's”

If you know chef Daniel Eardley from his days at Smith Street's beloved Chestnut, then you know he makes a mean brunch. He's now chef at Cole's Greenwich Village and is debuting brunch this weekend. You'll want to stop in.

In addition to preparing brunch classics such as eggs Benedict ($13), Daniel is serving shaksuka (a skillet with grits, baked eggs, curried tomatoes and feta, $12), a buckwheat crepe knish ($12), as well as a selection of sandwiches including The Shorty with braised short ribs, horseradish scramble and griswold onions ($13).

Bar man Johnny Swet has created several new cocktails for daytime drinking, including the
breakfast of champions with Jack Daniels, Patron XO Cafe, orange juice, maple syrup,
cinnamon and bacon bitters ($13).
