“Lunch at Saxon + Parole Starts Today”

il Bucco Alimentari is one of my favorite spots for lunch down near the Bowery (and dinner and dessert, for that matter) but once in a while, it's time to mix it up. When the mood strikes, head over to nearby Saxon + Parole where Chef Brad Farmerie has exciting new lunch menu that includes sandwiches, salads (the tuscan Kale cobb is a favorite), daily changing specials (steak frites, mmmm) and breakfast all day (like crispy eggs, polenta, red chile tomato sauce and baby artichokes)! Cocktail guru Naren Young crafted a unique selection of non-alcoholic ‘refreshers’: fresh juice concoctions (cucumber juice, lemon, thyme and Perrier, chili-spiked lemonade) squeezed and shaken to order in case you're not up for a real cocktail by noon (and why not?)

The restaurant's newly minted takeaway window features their famous BIG BLAT and the juicy S+P burger: both options come with a bag of house made veggie chips and a daily changing baked treat.
