“Samuelsson to open C-House in Chicago”

I’m still on a food high from my fantastic dinner at Merkato 55 last week (see reviews) and I see that Marcus isn’t wasting any time with getting going on his next project. He’ll tackle the windy city next with an American seafood restaurant called C-House set to open in the Affinia Chicago, a 215-room luxury hotel at 166 East Superior Street, this April.

The restaurant will feature a raw bar, an open kitchen and an airy rooftop lounge. A draft of the menu reveals sashimi style starters like Fatty Tuna with Pine Nuts, Fluke with Iced Melon, Spanish Mackerel with Citrus and Cured Beef with Sweet Soy, and entrees like Baby Sweet Shrimp Ravioli with Tomato and Parsley, Seared Beef Carpaccio with Pickled Vegetable Relish and Grilled Scottish Langoustine in Coconut Saffron Broth. Mark your dining calendars for your next Chicago visit.

This sounds amazing! It is making my mouth water, just thinking about it. I will be sure to stop by when I am on my Chicago Tour. This restaurant certainly will dominate out of all of the restaurants in the Hotels Chicago has to offer!
