“Missy Robbins in at A Voce”

Missy Robbins has been named Executive Chef at A Voce in New York City. She replaces (the quite frankly irreplaceable) Andrew Carmellini. She'll also oversee the opening of A Voce in The Time Warner Center. Despite the big shoes to fill, Robbins is a serious talent and I am happy to see her back in New York.

She most recently was the Executive Chef at Spiaggia in Chicago, where she worked closely with Chef/Partner Tony Mantuano. Her culinary pedigree includes stints at March, Arcadia and The Lobster Club, and a move to Northern Italy where she worked in various kitchens, including the Michelin-rated Agli Amici in Friuli. I've known Missy since way back when she was a sous-chef under John DeLucie at the Soho Grand Hotel. (A long, long time ago.) Welcome back and congrats to Missy!
