“A Menu Built for Lobster Lovers at Compass”

Running now though Sunday, February 15th, at Compass (208 West 70th Street, NYC 212-875-8600 www.compassrestaurant.com) there’s a fire sale on lobster, making this a luxury more affordable in these lean times. A three-pound Grilled Whole Lobster is $39, a bowl of Lobster Truffle Ravioli is $16, a Maine Lobster Salad is $13, while Lobster Thermidor is $29, and Butter Poached Maine Lobster is $32.

The restaurant’s $35 Winter Prix Fixe Menu also includes three lobster options: Lobster Tamarind Salad with Grapefruit, Roasted Thai Chili Vinaigrette, Bibb Lettuce, Lobster Chowder with Meyer Lemon, Black Olives and Lobster Potato Gnocchi with Manila Clams, Mussels, Chorizo, Lobster Saffron Foam.  

And if that’s not enough lobster for you, there’s even a Lobster-Vodka Martini for $14 at the bar. That might be overkill, admittedly.
