“Love Popovers? Then Try Scandinavia's Semla”

Take a cardamom brioche bun, fill it with rich marzipan cream and vanilla whipped cream and you have Selma, a sort of Scandinavian profiterole or popover, debuting in New York for the first time at AQ Kafé (1800 Broadway, between 58th St & Columbus Circle, (212) 462-0005).

This little piece of Scandinavian dessert heaven is new to their pastry program, and is being served from now until Easter Sunday, April 12th ($3.95 each).

A traditional treat associated with Lent, Selma is sure not to be the thing you give up this year. Make your way to this Northern European Bakery and Café before they are all gone.
