“Sue Perette”

This sweet new French-American restaurant is now open at 270 Smith Street (between Degraw and Sackett). A peak inside reveals a lovely little room with mod lamp shades in white, exposed brick and a roomy bar. The menu is in preview mode at the moment with just a few apps (like wild boar sausage with mustard seeds, warm potatoes and drippings vinaigrette, $9), and a few entrees (Berkshire pork shank with cumin cauliflower and spiced apples, $19), but a more elaborate menu is set for the next few weeks. A nice addition to the 'hood. Stay tuned.
