“Reading”
Actually, I didn't like On Beauty - I felt it was overrated. This year I really liked Uncommon Arrangements by Katie Roiphe, Heart So White by Javier Marias blew me away - beautifully written as was The Maytrees by Annie Dillard. The Curious Incident was a terrific book giving one an insight into a really poorly understood personality type - written in a way that makes you understand it.
