hey, the B and H dairy was somehow deleted from my post. It had great vegi chopped liver and very good soups w/ homemade Challah.

Having grown up in the borscht belt(really), as a young vegetarian my parents would take me to Ratners for Birthday meals!I do miss those vegetable cutlets and egg barley!! Have you tried the Edison on W 46th street?It was a hang out for old style borscht belt comedians back in the day. The vegi chopped liver wasn't as (great soups too) but the blitzes are a big plate of creamy goodness. Victory cake??
