“Jaunt! Your Summer Escape Route is Here ”

If you’ve been itching to check out the North Fork, dying to dine at the Hamptons best restaurants, itching to sail around the New York Harbor in style, or just in need of a day to chill out and get a much-needed change of scenery, take a mini-vacation with Jaunt, a new venture dedicated to luxurious food- and wine-driven daycations on the East End of Long Island.

Hosted and created by JaJuan Burgess, a veteran of the hospitality industry (he worked with Kenneth Zarrilli at the Raleigh in South Beach and helped open Vine Street Café on Shelter Island), Jaunt offers five elaborate all-day, all-inclusive packages (priced about $400 a person) including the Montauk Beach Day (European Breakfast on Limobus, Wine Vineyard Tour/Tasting, Al Fresco Boxed Lunch, Montauk Lighthouse Museum Tour, Premium Open Bar, 4-Course Ocean View Dinner at Gurney's Resort & Spa, Deep Tissue Chair Massage, Beach Bonfire with Beer & Wine), and The Greenport Outdoor Day (European Breakfast on Limobus, Wine Vineyard Tour/Tasting, Al Fresco Boxed Lunch, Cycling, Hiking, Kayaking and Swimming available, Nature Trails, Nutritional Nourishment during activities, Showers Available, Al Fresco Dining on Dock, 3-Course Dinner, and Premium Open Bar).

Additional packages (Food and Wine, Nautical, Party) are listed on their website, but each one generally includes: Wine Vineyard Tours, Tasting, Museum Tours, Sightseeing, Shopping, Cocktail Hour, 3-Course Dinner, Admission to a Club/Lounge, Full Service Round-Trip Transportation, Fun and Surprises throughout the day. Jaunt will also set up a customized private day trip for your company or party.

As far as transportation, you’ll be on a luxury skylit Limobus, where you’ll be served seasonal hors d’oeuvres and cocktails by an on-board bartender. While returning, refreshments will be served to replenish and finish the night. All hors d’oeuvres, beverages and cocktails are complimentary and your price per day includes all taxes and tips so you could literally leave your wallet at home. (But you probably want to bring it along to buy some wine.)
