Go Whole Hog or Truffle Wild on NYE at Trestle on Tenth

Spend NYE with Ralf Keutel and his team at Trestle on Tenth and you'll have a choice of two celebratory options: a decadent four-course black truffle tasting (includes a glass of Champagne) or a whole roasted suckling pig and seasonal side dishes (includes a whole bottle of bubbly). And all Trestle on Tenth dinner guests will be given a glass of bubbles with our compliments at midnight to ring in the New Year!

Your Sucking Pig Feast includes a whole-roasted Whiskey Hill Farms Suckling Pig stuffed with sausage and black truffles, served family-style with potato rosti, gratineed pizokel, brussel sprouts with pancetta, braised red cabbage, baked acorn squash, house-made pickles, and a bottle of Pierre Gimonnet Champagne. A minimum of 6 people ($40 for each additional person) $350, not including tax and gratuity.

If you'd rather go the truffle route, your Black Truffle Tasting Menu ($65 a person) includes choices like house-cured duck breast with black truffle and bacon blinis, seared scallops with black truffle, pork belly and parsnips, black truffle stuffed suckling pig with salsify, wild striped bass with black truffle and roasted beets, molten dark chocolate-mint cake with whipped cream, and three farm-house cheeses. Dinner includes a glass of Pierre Gimonnet Champagne.

Spend New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at Red Rooster:

Red Rooster Harlem is offering three different options for NYE dinner. Its 1st seating will offer a prix fixe menu for $45 pp, featuring four courses with dishes including Escovitch with Maya Shrimp and Roasted Blue Foot Chicken with Truffle & Cornbread Stuffing and Gizzard Gravy. Seatings will be available at 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Red Rooster Harlem's 2nd seating will offer a $120 pp prix fixe menu, which includes 5 courses, party favors, a live DJ, a champagne toast, extended table seating and a $50 reduced admission to the downstairs New Year 's Eve Gala. Seatings will be available at 9:00 p.m., 9.30 p.m. and 10.00 p.m.

There will also be a New Year's Eve Gala in the restaurant's downstairs private dining space, with doors open from 10:00 p.m. The gala will cost $95, which will include a champagne toast; passed desserts; a late night snack buffet; a DJ, band and dancing;

On New Year's Day, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Red Rooster Harlem will offer a Gospel Brunch Buffet featuring festive favorites and Harlem classics. The buffet will cost $45 pp, with kids half price. From 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Red Rooster Harlem will offer a dinner buffet in addition to the regular dinner menu. This will cost $55 pp, with kids half price.

A NYE Catalan Feast at Boqueria

Celebrate the New Year at Boqueria where they will be hosting two separate seatings offering a shared tapas menu with choice of dessert as well as an open bar with selections ranging from beer and wine to cheery pitches of sangria and festive glasses of cava.

The first seating ($75 per person plus tax and gratuity) will take place from 6-7:30pm, with the first open bar scheduled from 6-9:30pm. The second seating ($125 per person plus tax and gratuity) will take place from 9-10:30pm with the second open bar running from 9pm-1am.

Elegant Feasts at AvroKO 's Restaurants

At Saxon + Parole (316 Bowery at Bleecker; 212.254.0350; www.saxonandparole.com) you can enjoy a five-course prix fixe $120 pp menu featuring favorites such as Whole Grilled Maine Lobster; Brussels Sprout Leaves with Poached Egg, Toasted Hazelnuts, and Truffle-Yuzu Hollandaise; and Foie Gras & Five Spice Torchon. Raw bar items and caviar will also be available as add-ons, and guests who sit as the bar can order the prix fixe menu items a la carte.

At PUBLIC (210 Elizabeth Street; 212.343.7011; www,public-nyc.com), chef Brad Farmerie will be serving a Greatest Hits menu ($120 pp prix fixe) all of which will also be available a la carte at the bar.

An Omakase NYE at Morimoto

In addition to its a la carte menu, Morimoto NYC will offer a prix fixe, upgraded Omakase menu for $150pp which includes a glass of champagne to start and at midnight; and dish such as Nantucket Bay Scallops with Black Truffle; Fois Gras Terrine; and the Iron Chef's take on Surf n' Turf.

Spicy and Tasty NYE at Kin Shop

Start your New Year off on a feisty note at Kin Shop, where Chef Harold Dieterle and Alicia Nosenzo are serving up an $85 four-course tasting menu that starts off with an amuse of Miang of Yellowtail & Asian Pear, and moves on to choices such as Hot & Sour Black Trumpet Soup, Crispy Watercress & Rock Shrimp Salad, Seared Diver Sea Scallops & Crispy Cumin Lamb, Prime Beef Tartar, Braised Creekstone Beef Short Ribs and Stir Fry of Whole Lobster.

Home for the Holidays with Hill Country

Hill Country Barbecue Market will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day, but will offer Pit-smoked brisket, whole or by the pound and house-cured bone-in hams for pick up and delivery, (call 646.380.5883 with 24 hours' notice) perfect for all holiday feasts. Whole briskets (8-10 lbs.) are $20.25/lb. while sliced moist brisket is $22.75/lb. and sliced lean brisket is $20.25/lb.

Fresh house-cured bone-in hams are available as part of Hill Country's Holiday Feast (to order call 646.380.5883 or email Laura@HillCountryNY.com with 72 hours' advance notice running December 12-31, with the last order taken Wednesday, December 28th.
