Early Bird Hot Chocolate Special at Chocolate Bar

While most of you are probably sleeping soundly at 8:30am on Sundays, anyone with kids has already been up for at least two hours (if not more). So for us, it’s nice to know that there’s a Happy House special made for early risers. At Alice Nelson’s Chocolate Bar in the West Village, it’ll be buy one, get one free every Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. until spring finally arrives (only for the small size). She uses a 65 percent Belgian Callebut dark chocolate and steams it to perfection. You can add milk or soy and pick among eight flavors (classic, spicy, peppermint, coconut, hazelnut, caramel, raspberry and white). It’s early, but if you’re up, enjoy!
