Brunch at the Little Cheese Pub

Your favorite cheese pub has just started brunch, adding to a menu that includes 30 amazing cheeses along with snacks like port wine & blue cheese with melon and clover honey, and mac & cheeses like Dutch Kaas mac with aged gouda and beer pretzel topping, and mac Carbonara with Vermont cheddar, green peas and house-made pancetta.

The new brunch menu includes a value-driven Prix Fixe (glass of orange juice, cup of Brooklyn Stone Street coffee, and Huevos Rancheros baked eggs for $12.95) and new dishes like Mac’n Eggs—5 Spoke Signature Tumbleweed cheddar (8 months cave-aged) and hand crafted ear shaped mac with baked egg & rye toast ($13), Cowboy Eggs—scrambled eggs on a poppy seed bun with Gouda and house-made pig sausage 9.50, “Highline Garden” baked egg whites, spinach, sauteed onions, cheddar ($10), and Eggs Florentine, poached eggs on a bed of spinach topped with cheese mornay  ($12.50).

Intermezzo Menu at Po

Po, Steve Crane’s welcoming Italian restaurant has just launched an Intermezzo menu, serving a menu of afternoon snacks to hold you over between lunch and dinner. It’s ideal for toddlers who need an early dinner, and parents who need that early glass of wine. On the menu you’ll find bruschettas topped with stracchino, figs, honey and walnut pesto as well as “piccola piatti” like polenta with lamb ragu and mascarpone.  Perhaps what makes the menu most special is the value that’s built into it. Large bruschettas, three to an order and in five varieties, are only $8; salumi and formaggi plates are $10; and all piccola piatti, from grappa cured salmon to roasted porchetta, are $12.
Po is located on Cornelia Street in the West Village.
