“Chelsea's Newest Farmstand, Freaktoberfest ”

New Farmstand in Chelsea

Executive Chef David Seigal at Chelsea’s Table has begun working with one of their local produce vendors – Trussbridge Farm who will be bringing in their own farmer’s market cart and setting this up shop right outside of the restaurant.

Trussbridge Farm will be bringing a variety of produce ranging from beets, chard, garlic, squashes, kale, turnips, potatoes, and more. With tomato season still in full swing, they’ll also have a variety of large heirlooms, multi colored cherry tomatoes, and many more. Other non-produce items that will be available include poultry and pork from Majestic Farm, as well as honey and New York maple syrup from Catskill Mountain Sugar House.

The farmerstand will be open Sundays from 8AM – 4PM through month of October and possibly longer. Since the Chelsea neighborhood is underserved with greenmarkets, this is a great option for shoppers looking for fresh market produce. Happy Shopping!

Chelsea’s Table is located on Pier 62 just west of the 23rd Street entrance to Chelsea Piers.
