“February is Pancake Month at Clinton Street Baking Company”
Every year when the chill of winter has just sharpened its teeth, the good people of Clinton Street Baking Company give us something to look forward to: pancakes. All month long during February they add a menu of fluffy pancakes with an array of flavors changing daily served weekdays only from 8am-4pm and 6pm-11pm. Having pancakes for dinner is a great way to bring a little sunny warmth to an otherwise cold and dreary day.

- February 1, 2, 3: chocolate & blood orange pancakes w/candied orange glaze
- February 4, 5: poached pears with vanilla bean whipped cream & warm maple butter
- February 8, 9: fresh coconut pancakes with passion fruit syrup and bananas
- February 10, 11: roasted apples with candied walnuts and warm maple caramel
- February 12, 15: chocolate chunks, fresh raspberries, and raspberry-caramel sauce (also served on Valentine’s Day)
- February 16, 17: brown sugar pecans, bananas and cinnamon maple butter
- February 18, 19, 22: classic chocolate chunk
- February 23, 24: fresh blackberries, pecan streusel, warm maple butter
- February 25, 26: crunchy bananas with cinnamon-chili-chocolate sauce

This place should be grateful there are still children from out of town inhabiting what was once the Lower East Side who are willing to wait on line in the cold for breakfast. If they expect them to return for dinner they had best come up with something better than more pancakes.

Are you kidding thewiseking, pancakes for dinner is genious!!!!! Who doesn't love a good breakfast for dinner every now and again. The fact that they are mixing up the flavor options all month long makes it all the more exciting. I for one will definitely be hitting it up once, maybe twice...ok maybe three times. Can't wait!
