“Smashburger to Sell Boston Burgers to Benefit the One Fund Boston”

13 Smashburger locations across the Garden State will officially change the name of the “New Jersey Burger” to the “Boston Burger” from May 1st – 3rd and donate $1.00 from the sale of each to One Fund Boston. The burger is made from 100-percent Certified Angus Beef and topped with applewood smoked bacon, blue cheese crumbles, grilled onions, haystack onions, lettuce, tomato and mayo, served on an onion bun.
 
Created by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, the One Fund Boston was created to raise money for those most affected by the tragic events that unfolded during The Boston Marathon. One Fund Boston seen an outpouring of support from philanthropists, businesses and individuals eager to help the more than and three who were killed, according to the organization’s website.
