“This just in....Quattro Gastronomia Italiano to open at Trump Soho”

Trump SoHo Hotel Condominium New York (246 Spring Street, New York, NY) will bring Quattro Gastronomia Italiana, an Italian restaurant located in the heart of South Beach, to New York when it opens in the Spring of 2009.

According to the official Press Release:

“This stylish restaurant will utilize the talent of young chefs Nicola and Fabrizio Carro, identical twins from Piedmont, Italy. Quattro will feature authentic Northern Italian cuisine that marries local produce with specialty ingredients....

"Quattro’s 150-seat, 3,800 square foot interior will feature a 1,200 square foot mezzanine area with two private dining rooms. A lobby-level lounge, as yet unnamed, will also be under the management of KNR Restaurant Group. Studio A Design, a boutique New York-based firm, will spearhead the project’s interior design following their successful collaboration on Quattro’s South Beach location...."

"The menu begins with a wide variety of antipasti and segues to hand-made pastas prepared in a La Monferrina pasta machine from Alessandria, the Carro’s hometown in Piedmont. Dishes showcase the freshest seasonal ingredients dovetailed with traditional Italian home-cooking techniques. Meats and seafood will highlight classic Italian favorites, such as Branzino Intero in Crosta di Sale Marino or Sea Bass Baked in a Salt Crust, along with signature dishes such as Vitello Glassato alle Cipolline Boretane e Martini or Braised Veal with White Martini Vermouth and Glazed Pearl Onions and Praparazione Casalinga dei Ravioli di Casa Savoia Tartufati, delicate House-Made Ravioli with Fontina and White Truffle Oil. Quattro will showcase an all-Italian wine list."
