“Noodles, Pho, Curries, Ramen and More at YourAsian”

Jerry Joseph (of the dearly departed Jerry’s on Prince Street in Soho) is teaming up with chef Ten Vong (formerly of Jean-Georges, Guastavino’s) to open YourAsian, a Tribeca eatery that will showcase all sorts of Asian street and fast food, including dishes from China, Japan, Malaysia, and Indoneisia.

The restaurant will be two concepts in one. During the day, they’ll be open for takeout and delivery with a menu that’s divided into several modular sections for mixing and matching and creating your own Asian meal. (Get it? YourAsian). There will be rice and noodles (Indonesian curried rice, Japanese soba), toppings (wontons, dumplings, braised beef, fried chicken, shrimp, barbecue pork), broths (chicken and shoyu miso) and sauces (seven in total from Indonesian curry to teriyaki).

At night, Ten will serve a sit-down a la carte menu (with waiter service) that includes curries, rice and noodles (Pho, Pad Thai, and more), as well as street fare like pork ribs, coconut fried chicken wings (ayam goring kelapa), corn and shrimp fritters (pekedal jagung), and entrée sized house specialties like crispy whole fish with tamarind sauce and Indonesian barbecue chicken (ayam bakar) and squid with lemongrass and chili..

YourAsian opens April 14th, for lunch only to start, at Chambers Street, 212-608-1700. Dinner to come later this month. BYOB for now.
