Unfortunately, the producers opted for New York for the next season.

“NOLA would be perfect”

I've spent a lot of time in the Crescent City and it would not only be the perfect setting for the next Top Chef (which I love!), but the attention would hopefully help to revive the still struggling city. Some of the best chefs in the country are stationed there, as well as a varied assortment of unusual ingredients and classic dishes indigenous to the area that would make for some interesting challenges!!

“Top Chef in New Orleans”

I have had some of the best eating experiences of my life in New Orleans -- in both expensive, upscale restaurants and cheap dives. I agree that it would be a great place for Top Chef.
