“Brother Jimmy's Union Square Opens March 8”

Brother Jimmy’s BBQ is scheduled to open their sixth Manhattan location in the former Irving Mill space in Union Square on March 8th.

Their new 200 seat space will feature Brother Jimmy's signatures and a few new items like beef short ribs smoked and grilled with a Bourbon BBQ sauce, cornmeal fried oysters, spicy grilled loin pork chop with an orange-chipotle glaze and guava-BBQ grilled salmon. Expect the same kitschy license plate chic vibe and lots of PBR.

Join the fun, starting March 8th at 116 16th Street, between Irving and Park Avenues, 212-673-6465.

“The NYC Restaurant Death Knell Has Sounded”

Another serious restaurant goes bye, bye and is replaced with a chain pseudo frat-house vomitorium. The EPCOTization of my city moves onward...

“Irviing Mill is gone?”

I did not even know that Irving Mill had closed? Did they moved somewhere or are the gone for good? I can't believe i missed that news.
